Mockups
I've made multiple mockups from stickers, to posters, to promotional items from my time in the Digital Design Program. Below are some of my works.
Quote
Project Overview
For this project, we had to pick a quote or phrase that we liked, and then create two designs that semi-showcase what the quote means. Working with type, layout, and graphics we made through Illustrator, these are my two final outcomes. We also had to put it in a "giveaway" mockup. I picked to do stickers. (original size is 8x8 in.)
The quote is from YouTuber's Yes Theory - "Life's greatest moments and deepest connections are outside of your comfort zone."
The Driver Era Poster
Project Overview
This project seemed to be pretty simple initially, but it's not it is quite complex. We had to pick an existing band and create a poster using typography, possible grid layout, and only use two colors to make an engaging and eye catching poster. I picked the band The Driver Era, along with Hippo Campus as their supporting/opening act. The Driver Era are a indie-pop-rock band and their concerts feature a lot of lights and smoke. I wanted to use a dark red as the main color, and I wanted to incorporate an electric guitar somewhere in there. When I started out with my sketches, I took the silhouette of an electric guitar and drew out my own font/text in it to write out "The Driver Era". I thought a more serif font would match the display font I created and wrote out the location, opening act, and extra information about the "concert" wrapping around the guitar.
Soda Can
Project Overview
During one pamdemic year at Front Range Community College, I took Graphic Design I. One of our assignments had us create our own drink and the packaging for it. I wanted to make an energy drink and did research on flavors, can sizes, and what different 6 packs, 8 packs looked like. I ended up
settling on Arctic Energy Drinks with it having a cool-chill tone, and a fox as it's main mascott.
Louis Tomlinson Concert Poster
Project Overview
One of my favorite artists/singer is Louis Tomlinson (one of the members from One Direction). In my Graphic Design I class at FRCC, we had the assignment to create a typographic poster of an artist promoting their concert. I picked to make one for Louis, and at the time of this creation, one of his songs Defenceless was trending on Twitter. As a fandom, we were trying to get his song to Global Top 10. Vinyls were also growing in popularity so I decided to take the name of that song and make that the headlining tour name. I took the lyrics and formatted them in a ring/circle to create the vinyl and added in the additional information.
Hawaii Book
Project Overview
For my final in Typography I, we were asked to create a physical book about whatever we wanted. Using Adobe In Design, I started laying out my design. I wanted to focus on my trips to the different Hawaii Islands, and showcase the many pictures my family has captured during our time there. I also
wanted my design to be eye-catching. I didn't want to layout everything in a basic square or rectangular grid, and after doing a little bit of messing around, I settled on a circle design. I got the book physically printed at a FedEx, and I spiral bound it together myself with wire I purchased from Amazon.
