Motion Design
Working with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects, I created my own 2D characters and designs and imported them into AE. I used a lot of puppeting/parenting to create the movement and stuck to my 2D vector style.
Pool Rules PSA
This PSA piece showcases the important rules everyone should follow while at a pool. I created all the assets in Illustrator, and worked in After Effects to edit in the transitions and music. We also had to include a "brand" that was related to our PSA, so I picked the American Red Cross.
Arena Promotional Video
For this short piece, we had to either create a brand or pick a brand and make a promotional video for it. I decided to pick Arena, and created a person swimming butterfly in the water, and edited it in After Effects.
Tangled Title Sequence
This title sequence was my final for Editing and Production. I wanted to make a title sequence for one of my favorite comfort Disney movies - Tangled - and created all the assets in vector form in Illustrator and edited it together in After Effects. I added light leaks, and transitions to make it seem smooth and cohesive.
Lyric Video - NY Trip
This video is a music lyric video to the song 'Let My Love Open the Door' by Peter Townshed. I took a trip to New York, and decided to vlog it. I edited this in Premiere Pro, and added the lyrics in After Effects.
The Maze Runner - Title Sequence
This title sequence utilized a lot of layovers and masking. I created it all in After Effects, and I tried to make it as dystopian as possible. I added glitch effects in for the text and got all the footage from YouTube and Scene Packs found through Mega.
True Crime Network Package
(group project)
This was my final for Motion Design II, where my team created assets for the True Crime Network. I created one of the bumpins, animated lower thirds, and edited it all together.
16th Street Mall Tower Light Projection
The following was my final for my 3D Motion Design class. We were given the opportunity to create a piece using Cinema 4D, and get that projected onto the clock tower on 16th Street Mall Denver, CO. My whole class was given a whole night to project
our projects, it was super cool to see everyone's creative ideas. I decided to make a moving background with butterflies flying around, and having them interact with the windows. I made all my assets in C4D, and edited it all together in Adobe AE.
