Editing Works
My first time editing was in 8th grade when I was asked to join my middle school's new video annoucements class. I learned the very basics of Premiere and I loved it. In high school, I took Introduction to Filmmaking for a semester and Video Annoucements for a whole year.

When I got to CU Denver, I took classes related to editing such as Editing Aesthetics and Production II (I got to skip Production I due to my minor). I learned more about sound, match cuts, color correction, and more.

Love, Peter - Found Footage
Found footage assigned where I took Love, Simon, and Spiderman. I edited it so Peter's secret is that he's actually gay and not a superhero. The footage is from Mega, and I did this through Premiere.
Frozen - Found Footage
Found footage assignment where I took Disney's Frozen and made it horror instead. The footage is from Mega.
HoldUp
The classic Hold Up video editing assignment. I've done this project twice, this one is the more recent one. I wanted to take a different approach this time and make it seem like the thieves came in at different times, and that the driver left early. I also added really the Pink Panther theme song because I wanted it to be a little more funnier than normal.
Action Scene Edit
This was another assignment where footage was given to us and we had to edit it together. It's an action piece, and I took a lot of time cutting and making sure there were no continuity problems. We had to also edit in sound and foley for this assignment.
9th Street Chase
This was a short assignment where we had to film and edit together a chase scene. We had to focus on the different angles, and learn about cutting scenes correctly to obtain the "fast cuts" look - condensing time and space. I was both assistant director and 'Natalie' in this short film.
Authentic Tortilla
This project was a group project I worked on with my friend Nadia. We received footage, sound, and foley, and had to edit it all together to create a story. I edited the first half and she edited the second half. She did the color correcting. I edited it all together.
Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon Light Saber Fight Scene
This project was a group project I worked on with a group of 5. All 5 of us used Nuke to roto in light sabers in the spot of the swords', with each of us in charge of different scenes and frames. I used Nuke Studio to put all the scenes together and made sure everything was cohesive, from saber color, to thickness, to mo-blur.
