Mary Poppins

Project Overview

For this project, we had to make a promotional poster, motion storyboard, and "website" to showcase an existing musical or play. I decided to do mine on Mary Poppins, and feature the penguins that are loved and adored in the film. I thought that taking the iconic moments from the show like the carousel

ride, or the "a spoon full of sugar" song and transform that into a poster would be fun to showcase. I made Mary Poppins herself into a penguin flying away in the sky. The story of Mary Poppins is very loving and comforting, so I wanted to use lace and soft colors to help convey that feeling.
